Happy New Year OES Families,

Welcome back to school.  As we look forward to beginning school again, I would like to reassure you that we are still taking careful precautions with hand washing/sanitizing as well as our continued efforts to pay close attention to sanitize the school, paying special attention to touch point areas.

As of right now, masks are still optional.  I will let you know as soon as possible if there are any changes to the current COVID protocols that are already in place.  Please see the attached flyer concerning when to send or not send your child/children to school if they are exhibiting any signs of sickness.

The weather is really cold, and January is known as one of the coldest months in Utah.  Please make sure that your children dress warmly.

Get Ready to help support our students learn their math facts with our school wide Orem Elementary Mathematic Olympics!

Students can earn medals – Bronze, Silver or Gold by mastering math facts on their grade level.  Each grade will be a little different to differentiate the level of math facts required for that grade to master.  We will be rewarding classes each week based on the success of the class’ advancement of math fact knowledge.  All celebrations will be on Fridays.
