Happy Halloween Week OES Families,

Our schedule for Halloween, Oct. 31, 2018 will be a normal schedule.  Our school Halloween parade will begin at 1:00pm in the classrooms and we should be arriving in the gym for parents around 1:15pm.  We will not be walking through the 1st grade wing, those classes will be relocated within the school. Please check with your child’s teacher regarding class parties.

As always, please remember that there are no weapons or masks for Halloween costumes.

Home Reading prize day is tomorrow.  If you student brings back a signed home reading book, they will get a Halloween prize.

Our final collection day for our Africa School Kits will be Wednesday.  We will then put kits together and send them off. Thank you for all of your support and help with this.

This week is our Box Top Drive.  Don’t forget to check the expiration date on your box tops when you send them in.

Next week is Red Ribbon Week.  We will focus on making good choices and not doing drugs.  Each day there there will be a visible message to remind us the importance of staying away from drugs:

Monday: My future’s too bright to do drugs.  Wear neon or white and sunglasses.

Tuesday: I mustache you to not do drugs.  Mustaches, beards, or red. Student council will face paint mustaches at lunchtime.

Wednesday: Drugs are crazy!  Crazy socks and hair day.

Family Skate night is Monday, October 15, 2018.  Please see attached flyer.
