Principal’s Message – January 27, 2021

By Principal's Message

January 27, 2021

Good Afternoon OES Families,

Tomorrow, Thursday is the 100th day of school.

This Friday is our school Spelling Bee.  Good luck to all of our students who are participating.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on February 3rd and 4th.  We will be holding online conferences on Wednesday, and in person on Thursday.  Your child’s teacher will be sending home more information.

Some teachers will offer both options, however some teachers would prefer to offer either all online or all in-person.  Please work with your child’s teacher to make an appointment that will work for both parties.

Our goal is to meet with every child’s teacher, no matter what the format is.  Communication and partnership between home and school is essential to make sure your child’s education is successful.

Alpine School District will no longer have “Snow Days”.  On days when the weather is in question, we will have a distance learning day.  Teachers will provide online work for students to complete that day.  Distance learning will either be district wide, or by area cluster.  We will get your family the information as soon as it becomes available if we end up having a distance learning day.
