Impulse Control: What is it and How do we Get it?
Presented by Karen Fairchild, LCSW
Some children struggle to slow down enough to think through an urge to do something. They feel an urge to act and before they, or anyone else knows it, they’ve acted out in spite of predictable negative consequences.
This Parent Night will focus on:
-
Helping children recognize impulses
-
Developing plans for slowing down their reactions
-
Becoming motivated to practice skills.
Please register at https://bit.ly/2RR0av6 to participate virtually.
