Happy Thanksgiving Week OES Families,
Today is our last day for students to attend school this week. Many of you know that we have a Jr. Hope Squad here at Orem Elementary. Laura Giles is our teacher who heads this up, and along with other teachers in our school who help train students to be on the look-out for other students who may be having a difficult day. As the holidays approach, I want everyone to know that there are resources that are available to families who need extra help in providing for their families. Please see the attached flyers for the Sub for Santa sponsored by United Way.

After Thanksgiving Break, we can look forward to “Book Buddies” on November 29, 2018. More information from the PTA will be coming.
Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who are helping in getting our “Great Artist Program” off the ground. A really big thank you to Stephanie Scott and Sean Seastrand for organizing everything. So far, the students who have had lessons are really enjoying them. We have a wonderful, supportive community within our school. Thank you!
