PTA Updates – November 3, 2020

By PTA Updates

Dear OES Families,

The following message is from our PTA:

Orem Elementary Parents,

Greetings from the PTA! Just a quick email to keep you informed of some of our needs and plans.

First, we are in need of a few Executive Board members for next year. The wonderful Tamara Bahr has been Treasurer for the last 2 years and cannot fill a 3rd term. We need someone to take up this important position. We also need a President-Elect for next year, who would then be the President the following year. If you or anyone you know might be interested in one of these 2 positions, or in helping out in any way with PTA, please contact one of our Nominating Committee: Paige Gibson – [email protected], Delaina Whimpey – [email protected], or Adria Howse – [email protected].

Second, the PTA is excited to announce a fun new program run through the state – The Walk N Roll Challenge! This is an enjoyable way for the kids to get exercise and win cool prizes. Go to https://saferoutes.utah.gov/walk-n-roll/ to find out more.

Third, don’t forget to download the BoxTops App to help raise money for our school. The money raised goes straight to the teachers! It’s quick and easy, just scan your receipt every time you go to the store.

Don’t forget to go to https://oremelememtary.new.memberhub.store/store to buy OES merchandise and support the PTA.

Last but not least, since we can’t do the Grandparents and/or Special Friends lunch this year, on November 16 or 17 the kids will bring home postcards to send to their grandparent/special friend of choice. Some may be done in class, or partly done in class, but they will need to be finished and sent from home.

Thanks for all you do to help us help your amazing kids!

Brittany Przybyla, PTA Secretary
