We are very excited to announce the Noorda Theatre Center for Children and Youth will be coordinating the children’s chorus for the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Sundance Summer Theatre, July 20 – August 12: Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
As this is part of the Noorda Theatre Summer camp program, we invite ages 11-18 who have participated in our summer camp program to audition for this fabulous workshop opportunity that will culminate with performances at the Sundance Summer Outdoor Theatre as a part of the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
In addition, the Noorda Center will coordinate transportation to and from the Sundance resort for the final rehearsals and performances.
Participation in the children’s chorus does not require a fee, and is training opportunity under the guidance of a professional team: the production is directed by D. Terry Petrie, with musical direction by Korianne Johnson, and choreography by Addison Welch.
The children’s chorus will also receive individual help and feedback during the rehearsal process from two top students in UVU’s Theatre Education and BFA Acting program, Angie Alley Andrus and Sam Sanduk, who are also summer camp instructors.
